Material is fed manually by an operator at a loading height of 1150 mm. Following manual closing of the cabinet door, the surfaces of the workpieces are machined optimally on all sides during blasting due to the overturning motion of the tumble belt.
The shotblast wheel used is the “R” turbine which is easy to maintain. The blasting abrasive is reclaimed to the bucket elevator via a screw conveyor installed in the funnel. Smaller particles are extracted from the blasting abrasive in the optimised, one-level separator by means of an airstream, and fed to the filter system. The cleaned air is discharged into the open via an exhaust pipe.
To empty the dust collector resting on rollers below the filter funnel, it is detached and pulled out. Once the blasting process is completed, the workpieces are discharged to a transport container placed below by means of the backward motion of the tumble belt. The control cabinet is equipped with a PLC - a programmable logic controller.
